Durham County Council's Trading Standards team responds to the needs and demands of the service. There is an opportunity to join a busy and positive management team, providing leadership to Trading Standards staff.
We are looking to recruit an experienced and highly motivated officer to lead the Business Compliance team. You will manage and provide leadership to the operational staff, being accountable for their performance, and lead on a range of regulatory activities and projects.
As well as managing your own workload you will need to show abilities, skills and experience of forming and developing teams and creating positive cultures service which will allow the service to deliver effective outcomes for our communities.
The Trading Standards service sits within the Environment, Health and Consumer Protection service and the post holder will be expected to contribute to service wide projects involving a number of service teams where required.
Required Qualifications:
Degree or Diploma in relevant subject
