Pickering Community Junior School is a friendly and exciting place to work and we have high expectations of our children and of each other. Our school is currently rated ‘Good’ by OFSTED and our self-evaluation identifies some areas of our practice as outstanding.

We are seeking to appoint a full time, highly skilled and inspirational leader who will champion the needs of all our children but particularly those who are eligible for Pupil Premium funding. The successful candidate will have the ability to cultivate excellent relationships with staff, children, parents and governors and will support the Headteacher in the strategic leadership, development and day-to-day management of the school. The role includes a 0.6 teaching commitment and 0.4 leadership time.
