Are you looking for an opportunity to gain a qualification in business administration whilst gaining valuable work experience? Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council has an exciting new opportunity within the Business Improvement Team based at Central Depot, Dormanstown.
The team are responsible for a range of administrative tasks including the operation of a busy fleet reception, trade waste administration and waste services support.

You will gain valuable work experience supporting the team in the operation of Fleet Reception which will include answering phones, face to face contact, using computerised systems as well as supporting the administration of waste service tasks including bulky waste and bin deliveries.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, hard-working, positive individual who is self-motivated and able to work using their own initiative as well as being a team player. The successful candidate will be committed to providing an excellent service and be willing to learn and develop their knowledge.

As an apprentice you will be eligible to apply for Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council’s internal job vacancies as and when they arise within the Council.

Apprenticeship opportunities are open to anyone over the age of 16 years old with no upper age limit. You will need a commitment to attend training to attain the appropriate level of functional skills (Maths, English and ICT) if these have not already been achieved.
