Northern Education Trust is a DFE approved charity that sponsors academies to ensure that student achieves their full potential. The Trust sponsors 21 academies; 10 secondary and 11 primaries across the North of England in eleven Local authority regions. There will be a requirement to travel to academies across the Trust.

We are seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic and reliable individual who wishes to progress and develop. This is a training role for someone who is already qualified to a Level 5 Charted Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), who wishes to enrol on the part time HR Masters Level 7 Charted Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) at Teesside University whilst working in a busy and responsive HR team. The ideal candidate is someone who has experience in administrative processes, can produce letters and write reports whilst using a high level of ICT packages.

The individual must have the ability to multi task and manage a number of conflicting priorities. The experience of working in a HR environment or an administrative one would be beneficial but is not essential.

The role will entail working closely with the HR Team, shadowing the HR Manager, Senior HR Advisor and HR Advisor, regular travel will be required. You will be building effective working relationships with the employees in the Trust including Senior Leaders and support them to secure positive outcomes for our students and putting students at the heart of all decision making.

The successful candidate must enrol on the Level 7 course. The role will be fixed term whilst completing the qualification. If the course is successfully completed, the role will become a permanent HR Advisor, NJC SCP 31 £33,799 – 34 £36,876 (Currently undertaking a job evaluation process).

Holiday entitlement is 30 days per year plus bank holidays (September to August). All other conditions are NJC conditions. Service with a body listed on the redundancy modification order will be recognised for continuous service purposes.
