"The Service  
NCC operates 5 children’s homes including a national secure children home with education. Overall the service employes 130 care staff and 30 support services staff across the 5 sites. Our Homes accommodate 25 young people aged 6 - 17, our main aim is to offer an exceptional family focussed caring environment where children and young people can feel safe and excelled in their abilities and futures. The service is regularly inspected by Ofsted, currently our homes are rated as Outstanding or Good with outstanding leadership and management. It is crucial that everyone in our team is committed to the best safe care of our young people.  We have vacancies for a  Residential Support Workers at Kyloe House a national secure children’s home with education based at Stannington near Morpeth.
The Role
All roles require you to work a shift pattern that may include sleep ins and night shifts. You must have a good general education and be willing and able to undertake relevant training up to NVQ Level 2/3 Care Awards. Residential Support Workers You will work under the direction of the team leader or shift coordinator to ensure the effective care of each young person. We are offering 
- A starting salary  £19554. Excluding SPR payment
- Access to the Local Government Pension Scheme (or other pension scheme)
- A wide range of staff benefits including a competitive annual leave provision.
- There is a further payment for Single Premium Rate for unsociable working hours including weekends.
