As part of the City Plan, we are looking for a committed and driven Senior Housing Manager. The role provides an exciting opportunity for an experienced housing professional to play a key part in developing and delivering housing initiatives and key projects as part of Housing Strategy for Sunderland.

Supporting the Assistant Director of Housing, you will develop a full range of accommodation pathways that meet housing needs within the City, including vulnerable people.

Applicants will need the following:

• Experience of delivering housing for vulnerable people and preventing homelessness.

• Provision of leadership and management support to the Housing Strategy and Housing Options Team.

• A track record of working with a range of housing providers, developers, landlords and other key stakeholders to ensure there is suitable accommodation for housing needs.

• Experience of managing the Housing Allocations Policy.
