The Governing Body at St. Helen’s Primary School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, highly effective and committed classroom practitioner to join our inclusive school. As a school we nurture ‘talent’ and as a forward looking school we are always seeking ways to develop our staff and their careers.
St. Helen’s Primary School has 325 pupils inclusive of a 26 place Nursery and a 16 place 2-Year-Old provision. We have above average FSM and deprivation. The vision for St. Helen’s Primary School is to ‘enable all pupils (no matter what their background or starting point) to achieve their full potential and promote the school as a ‘beacon’ of the community, where aspirations are achieved and dreams are a reality for all pupils, staff and families’.
St. Helen’s has recently had a section 5 Ofsted Inspection, where all areas where judged as ‘Good’. The inspectors recognised the team ethos and how this has made a significant contribution to school improvements and how “The Headteacher has established a culture of high expectation that has transformed the learning environment”.
