Required from November 2019 (immediately after half term).
Temporary/Term Time Only/Part Time & Full Time

The post will be part time until the end of the autumn term. FTE 0.6 - 3 days a week.

Then full time from January 2020 to cover the maternity leave of two members of staff. It is hoped that there will be some overlap with current staff to assist with the transition.

The Governing Body of this popular primary school seek to appoint an excellent, enthusiastic, creative and motivated year 1/2 Teacher.

The successful candidate will need to be wholly committed to becoming an integral member of our hard-working and dedicated team and will:
• Have high expectations and a strong commitment to raising standards for all children including those with SEND and the more able
• Will make learning exciting, memorable and enjoyable
• Be a strong practitioner
• Have high expectations of children’s achievement and behaviour
•A sound knowledge of the effective teaching of phonics
• Share the ethos and values of our school community
• Be able to work as part of a team and foster positive relationships with staff, pupils, parents and governors.
• Have a commitment to the whole life of the school, including the provision of extra-curricular activities
