Are you looking for an opportunity to gain a qualification in business administration whilst gaining valuable work experience?

Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council has an exciting new opportunity within the Adult Learning Disabilities Team based at Belmont House, Guisborough.

The Adult Learning Disabilities Team is responsible for provision of assessment, review and support provision for adults with a Learning Disability and/or Autism condition; their family and carers. The team comprises of business support role which supports the completion of administrative tasks to ensure that the service delivery in this area is facilitated.

You will gain valuable work experience supporting the team in the with the administrative support in this area; which will be inclusive of responding to and dealing with external enquiries to the service and the team via answering phones, using computerised systems and written communication. Tasks will all be holistic to cover a varied range of administrative support to a busy social care team.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, hard-working, positive individual who is self-motivated and able to work using their own initiative as well as being a team player. The successful candidate will be committed to providing an excellent service and be willing to learn and develop their knowledge.

As an apprentice you will be eligible to apply for Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council’s internal job vacancies as and when they arise within the Council.

Apprenticeship opportunities are open to anyone over the age of 16 years old with no upper age limit. You will need a commitment to attend training to attain the appropriate level of functional skills (Maths, English and ICT) if these have not already been achieved.
