Northern Skills Group are looking to recruit a Construction and Multi Skills Tutor / Training Adviser on a permanent basis.

Full time (37 hours per week), Permanent
Salary range: £20,833 to £25,097 per annum*

*Market Rate Supplement: A further £5,000 per annum, of salary may be available for an exceptional candidate.

The Construction and Multi-Skills Tutor / Training Adviser will be responsible for the delivery of all training within the following construction trades: bricklaying, carpentry and joinery, plastering, painting and decorating, construction operations, wall and floor tiling.

Tutor / Training Advisers will contribute to the design and delivery Model of learning programmes and assessments, working closely with learners to enable them to successfully achieve their qualifications.

Areas for delivery will include: Preparation for work, health and safety, employability, Construction and Multi-Skills and to be able to embed functional skills throughout.

Tutor / Training Advisers have a key role in developing learners to achieve their learning goals and inspire them to overcome barriers. As part of the Employability and Projects team you will be responsible for supporting individuals in finding sustainable employment.

Qualifications required:
• Minimum of Level 2 or above in a relevant qualification.
• Functional Skills Maths, English and ICT.
• To be willing to work towards a Teaching Qualification (PGCE).
• To be willing to work towards an Assessing Qualification (TAQA or
Equivalent).
