GRADE 5 (£19554 - £21589 pro rata)
37hrs per week, term time plus 2 weeks, permanent
The Governors of this vibrant and successful school are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, committed and highly motivated person to become part of our Learning Support Unit. The successful candidates will work proactively with students and provide in class support across the curriculum. The ability to work closely with colleagues and to offer support and guidance is essential.
Candidates should have:
• 4 GCSEs Grade A*-C, including English and Maths
• NNEB, CACHE, BTEC, NVQ3 or equivalent qualification
• Experience of supporting young people to overcome barriers to learning
• Sound practical, interpersonal and organisational skills
Where our roles are customer facing and you are required to speak to members of the public, the ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
