Sunderland City Council has two exciting opportunities to work 18.5 hours per week as a Registration Officer within the Registration Services.
We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic individuals, who are able to deal with sometimes sensitive situations, to work with the Registration Service. The successful applicant will be an effective communicator; able to make decisions and reach conclusions. You must be able to operate in a busy team environment and be able to manage a workload involving dedicated appointment times.
You will be responsible for the registration of births deaths, still-births, marriages and civil partnerships within the Civic Centre and at other locations across the City of Sunderland.
This post is exempt from the rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and therefore will be subject to a DBS check from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
