An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Mental Health Service for a Team Manager in Adult Social Care. The successful candidate with be a qualified social worker who is enthusiastic and committed to working in a person centred way and takes a strengths based approach with customers and carers. Working knowledge of the Mental Health Act and Mental Capacity Act are also essential.

You will have proven leadership skills, able to lead a group of professionally registered and other staff in very busy, fast paced environment.


You will be public facing and will have conflict management and clear negotiation skills as well as a high level of both written and verbal communication.

You will also have the ability to manage customer concerns with a record of dealing with these on an informal basis through to successful resolution.

The support of staff in their duties is your key responsibility and you will be expected to have the knowledge of social work practice, policy and legislation to enable you to do so.
