LEARNING SUPPORT ASSISTANT SEMH
Starting salary £18,478 per annum (52 weeks).
Exciting opportunities have arisen for Learning Support Assistants within our primary and secondary school, working with children and young people age 5 – 16 years old.
At Talbot House School we pride ourselves on re-engaging young people with their learning, offering a broad curriculum which celebrates success and achievement. We provide a variety of skills training and qualifications, preparing pupils for further education and employment
We are keen to meet with experienced Learning Support Assistants SEMH who have also had experience of pupils with ASD and who are looking for their next challenge. You will be enthusiastic, reliable and flexible with excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a passion for helping young people be the best they can be. You will need to possess initiative and resilience for what is often a demanding role. We would love to hear from you if you have a genuine interest in the welfare and academic development of children and young people with emotional behavioural difficulties.
The successful candidate will have an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification, training or experience, with two years’ experience of working in a SEN school or with SEN children.
