Are you an experienced practitioner who is ready for a new challenge?
Do you want to develop your leadership skills but still keep a clinical caseload?
Do you want to help shape and develop an Occupational Therapy service?
We are looking for a suitably qualified Occupational Therapist with extensive experience in social care to provide essential support to the Lead Occupational Therapist. We are looking for someone with coaching and mentoring skills as well as sound professional practice including experience of positive risk taking and safeguarding issues.
You will develop and support the team and foster effective working relationships with colleagues to the benefit of clients and their families. You will deputise for the Lead Occupational Therapist as appropriate and be responsible for allocating and supervising casework to team members, ensuring eligible residents receive timely and responsive intervention.

Redcar and Cleveland council have committed to supporting preventative and early intervention approaches and has invested significantly in a new intermediate care centre, reablement services, extra care housing and independent living centre.
The service is part of the Integrated Occupational Therapy service which covers the whole of the health and social care system across the South Tees area, giving the postholder unique access to professional peer support, staff development and integrated working practices.
