New College Durham Academies Trust comprises of two large Academies, Consett Academy and North Durham Academy, located some six miles apart in North West Durham. The Trust is seeking to appoint a Cover Supervisor to join our Team at North Durham Academy. This is an exciting time to join us. Cover Supervisor

Grade 2 - £16,214 - £16,870 pa (which reflects actual salary)
37 Hours per week Term Time Only

You will be required to look after classes of students in the Academy and conduct pre-planned lessons for absent teachers, providing appropriate guidance and advice as required.

Good verbal and communication skills are essential, together good classroom management. It is essential you are able to work using your own initiative, under pressure to achieve quality work within competing deadlines. You will be required to work flexibly according to the needs of the Academy.
