Two permanent posts are available at the following Leisure Centres:

4.50 h.p.w. at Spennymoor
8 hpw at Newton Aycliffe

Casual as and when required opportunities are also available county wide.

The post holders will be accountable to the locality Aquatics Coordinator. The post holders will make a significant contribution to the development of the learn to swim programme and must be committed to continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications:
ASA Level 2 Teaching Aquatics Qualifications
Willingness to work towards and obtain the RLSS National Pool
Lifeguard Qualification or National Rescue Award for Swimming
Teachers and Coaches

Where our roles are customer facing and you are required to speak to members of the public, the ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
