At Depaul UK we currently have an exciting opportunity for a Progression Coach to come and join our team based in Whitley Bay. You will join us on a part time basis and in return you will receive a competitive salary of £19,608 FTE per annum (£10,457.60 per annum) + pension & other benefits.

We specialise in the provision of services that: prevent homelessness, increase the resilience of those we work with and energise opportunities for employment, education, training and volunteering in the communities we work within.

The Progression Coach role:
You will be delivering an assessment, support and move on service to Depaul clients and will be responsible for ensuring the effective and safe management of the service on a day to day basis. You’ll hold line management responsibility for a number of staff, volunteers and possibly students on placement, and hold responsibility for the safety and wellbeing of all clients, volunteers, visitors and staff in the service.

Continuous support and supervision including reflective practice to develop your learning and skills as a practitionerWhat will ideally support your success in the Progression Coach role?
Experience of working with the client group and an understanding of the needs of those who have experienced homelessness, poor mental health and substance use
A knowledge and understanding of Risk Assessments and Support Planning
Able to demonstrate clear understanding of safeguarding requirements and procedures
An understanding and commitment to working in an assets based way
High level understanding of professional boundaries and ability to maintain boundaries
