At Depaul UK we are currently have an exciting opportunity for a Concierge to come and join our team based in Whitley Bay. You will join us on a part time, permanent basis. In return you will receive a competitive salary of £17,301.79 per annum FTE + pension & other benefits

About the Concierge role:

Working under the direction, guidance and support of a manager, you will be responsible for managing the building to ensure that the accommodation provided to the clients is safe and secure through the provision of concierge service, security and door control. This includes controlling access to buildings, being the first point of contact for all emergencies and carrying out Health and Safety checks and cleaning.

Continuous support and supervision including reflective practice to develop your learning and skills as a practitioner

What will ideally support your success as our Concierge?

An understanding of the needs of people who have experienced homelessness, poor mental health, substance use or care leavers.
Experience of managing the safety of vulnerable clients preferably in supported housing.
Good written and spoken communication skills to ensure the accurate handover of information both verbally and in writing between shifts.
Experience of undertaking basic maintenance and/or delivering cleaning services.
Able to demonstrate clear understanding of safeguarding requirements and procedures.
