Gateshead Council is looking for a capable paralegal to support its litigation team to provide the best possible service. The team helps a wide range of services across the organisation to make Gateshead a place where everyone thrives.

You will hold a Law degree (iLex Part 1) or be CPE / LCP qualified and will be involved in some exciting and challenging work, including prosecutions, employment and claims against the Council.

You will have strong organisational skills and will be used to a busy office environment. You will have good knowledge and experience of legal practice and procedure; and be willing to engage in learning and development opportunities. You will have proven experience of excellent oral and written communication skills.
