Resources and Digital includes the Council's Financial
Management Service and an opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and experienced Accountant to join the Service. The position is essential to maintaining the provision of the service’s high performing financial systems, controls and professional knowledge whilst working in a dynamic and challenging environment.

You will have responsibility for managing a small team and will be required to provide professional advice and relevant, accurate and timely financial information to support the strategic planning process and operational management, assist in the development, operation and maintenance of information systems and provide positive leadership, clear direction, training and support to team members to ensure high levels of performance.

You should have knowledge of Local Government financial environment and hold CCAB qualification.
