Hartlepool Borough Council are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Performance Analyst to work jointly between the Local Authority and Hartlepool and Stockton-on-Tees Safeguarding Children Partnership (HSSCP).
Hartlepool Local Authority want to make Hartlepool the best it possibly can be and want dedicated, driven and committed staff to help achieve that. With knowledge of theory and research that underpins children and families work, the post holder will analyse, triangulate and contextualise data in order to understand, and report on, the effectiveness of safeguarding provision and commissioned services.
Hartlepool and Stockton-on-Tees Safeguarding Children Partnership is a multi-agency partnership whose aim is to “ensure that every child in Hartlepool and Stockton-on-Tees feels safe, secure and is protected from harm; enabling them to reach their full potential”. The Performance Analyst will play an integral part in the Partnership by advising partners on what is working well, what needs further development in their collective safeguarding practice to achieve this vision and by identifying the impact of change for improvement work completed; ensuring effective multi agency working throughout the whole system via their ‘Active Learning’ approach.
Working within the Children’s Services Department, the post holder will undertake work for both for Hartlepool Borough Council and for the Safeguarding Children Partnership, carrying out research and analysing information from a range of sources to help inform, design and shape service delivery throughout the Partner agencies.
The post holder will be an outstanding communicator, effective problem solver and have significant influencing skills to ensure both buy in and effective application of performance information. Bringing the performance information to life by adding context, providing real time intelligence that can be used to proactively shape the services the Local Authority and partners deliver, we welcome applications from individuals with working knowledge of arrangements for safeguarding children.
