The Role:
This is a fixed term post for the duration of the externally funded contract (31 August 2021).
YHN are a specialist delivery partner in the Wise Steps programme. Wise Steps is an ESF and National Lottery funded programme that provides support for people that have multiple barriers to employment.
As part of Wise Steps, YHN are contracted to provide digital employability support for customers who engage in the programme. The support will be a combination of 1-2-1 and group delivery, with the overall aim of improving the customers’ skills and making them more competent in using digital devices to be able to apply for jobs and training, and to improve their wellbeing. The role will also involve working closely with other partners within Wise Steps to ensure that the customers receive digital support that is beneficial and tailored to their needs.
The Person:
You will have:
• Excellent organisation skills and the ability to manage a case load of customers.
• A track record or equivalent transferrable experience in working with people to improve their digital and/or employability skills.
• Passion for supporting people to achieve their potential, in particular people with a vulnerabilities or barriers to employment.
• Experience in delivering projects and working closely with partners and other organisations.
