Our Governors seek to appoint an enthusiastic Out of Hours Supervisor to work as part of a friendly school team for securing the safety and welfare of pupils during Breakfast Club and After School Club in the classroom and playground areas.

The role will involve the setting up of the club each morning and afternoon preparation and serving of breakfast and snack tea and helping create a welcoming, stimulating and supportive environment for the children attending the club.

Gainford Primary School is a smaller than average school which has high expectations of both staff and children. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of our children and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

You will work 7.35am until 9.15am, and 3.15pm -5.40pm Tuesday to Friday.

This job is not open to job share.

Where our roles are customer facing and you are required to speak to members of the public, the ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post. This position is paid whole time with retainer adjustments applied to periods of school closure. You will not be required to work during the school closure periods however your salary in these periods will be adjusted accordingly in line with the retainer regulations as specified in the National Joint Council (NJC) Green Book agreement.
