Teaching Assistant – temporary until September 2020 or until the return of the substantive post holder.
The Governors of Vane Road Primary School wish to appoint an enthusiastic and caring Teaching Assistant to join this popular and successful primary school. The post is to provide support for children in Upper Key Stage 2 from the 1st January 2020.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a team aiming for excellence in all areas of school life. It is a particularly exciting time for our school as we moved into the new school building in September 2018.
We require a Teaching Assistant who is able to provide exciting and stimulating learning opportunities and to support children throughout all aspects of school life. Applicants must be committed to further enhancing the very high standards which already exist in the school.
The successful candidate will also be expected to make a valuable contribution to whole school development and to enriching the experiences of our pupils.
Where our roles are customer facing and you are required to speak to members of the public, the ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post. Essential Qualifications: NVQ 3 or equivalent
