Further Information
A Learning Mentor, based at PALS, is required to start as soon as possible until 31st August 2020.
The PALS team is based at 3 locations in North Shields. PALS is an off-site alternative education provision, funded through local secondary schools in partnership with North Tyneside local authority, with the aim of preventing permanent exclusion of vulnerable students. Students are supported to make progress with their secondary education and to achieve a set of qualifications which ensure that they can access education or training Post 16.
A key feature of this role is to support students with GCSE English.

This post is 37 hours per week, term time only over 193 days, fixed term until the 31/08/2020.
