The Headteacher and Governors of the school wish to appoint an enthusiastic and hard-working cleaner to join our dedicated team. This role is to work individually and with the caretaker to undertake cleaning of a designated area within school and ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are met and maintained.

The School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Safer recruitment practice and pre-employment checks will be undertaken before any appointment is confirmed. This post is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check (previously CRB).

Please note that the Childcare Disqualifications Regulations 2009 apply to this position and therefore you are required to complete the “disqualification by association” declaration form. Should you be successful in your application for this post, your appointment can not be progressed without this declaration.

Please note that this position is whole time, which means that you will be in attendance at work all year round (52 weeks a year) and will have an annual leave entitlement (26 days if you have less than 5 years continuous local government service, 31 days if you have in excess of 5 years continuous local government service; pro rata for part time).
