North Tyneside Council is seeking two proactive, enthusiastic and skilled Improvement Officers to help deliver its ambitious transformation programme across Health, Education, Care and Safeguarding services.
You may be a health or social care professional looking to move into business improvement and change management. Or you may have a background in corporate support services, with a particular interest health, social care and education services. Most importantly, you will be driven, energetic and passionate about improving services for children, adults and families.
You will be a people person, with the ability to establish and develop strong working relationships with a range of professionals at all levels. You will be a self-starter who can drive forward change, through complex and competing operational demands.
Health, Education, Care and Safeguarding oversees services worth around £150m per annum, supporting more than 5,000 adult social care clients, around 5,000 children with SEND, almost 2,000 children in need or in care, and all 80 schools in North Tyneside. You will play a key role, working with the senior management team to help deliver service transformation and improvements across the full range of services.
