An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Social Care Income Team within the Social Care Payments and Income Function.
The team endeavours to recover outstanding social care debt by offering advice and guidance to clients, practitioners and providers in relation to social care debt and carrying out timely investigations to establish reasons for non-payment, including contacting clients via telephone and completing home visits.

Applicants should have excellent team work, customer service and negotiating skills, be able to manage and prioritise a complex workload and be able to work using their own initiative. Applicants must be confident and able to complete home visits to clients. Knowledge of social care or benefit procedures is preferred but not necessarily essential as full training will be provided.
