The Foundation is seeking a highly motivated individual to fulfil the exciting role of Functional Skills Officer as part of the Skills Team.
Through our pioneering facility, the Beacon of Light, it is the Foundation’s ambition to develop the employability of people across Sunderland, South Tyneside and County Durham through quality education and skills delivery.
Working with our Skills Team, you will deliver non-accredited provision and a range of qualifications from Entry Level to Levels 1 and 2 Maths and English for learners aged 16+. You will have the ability to support learners to achieve their goals and qualifications through outstanding teaching and learning, whilst also ensuring the quality of delivery in line with Ofsted requirements and Foundation of Light policies and procedures.
The base for the post is our Learning Centre of Light in Peterlee, with delivery across Sunderland, South Tyneside and County Durham.
