Salary / benefits: £15,043 - £17,625 Pay per annum (0.82FTE) actual salary dependent upon experience (APT&C4-12, Full Time scale value £18,426 - £21,589)

Local Government Pension Scheme

Working times: 37.5 hours a week (5 x 7.5 hour days, 8.00am to 4.00pm). Term time (178 days) + 5 PD days. 30 minutes unpaid break/lunch.

Start date: Immediately, subject to successful candidate’s availability / notice period

Higher Level Teaching Assistant (Primary)

Reduced school year of 180 days plus 3 CPD days, i.e. an additional 12 days of holidays.

We require an enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to work primarily with Year 6 students within our Primary school. The role will involve teaching some whole class groups during PPA time. The role will also involve the planning, delivering and assessment of group interventions.

The ability to engage students and to foster a love of learning is essential for this role. Experience of delivering numeracy and literacy programmes and interventions is also required.

Candidates will require energy, initiative, integrity and commitment to our vision and Christian ethos.
