We are looking an enthusiastic solicitor to fill a permanent post within the Planning and Conveyancing Team.
As part of the team you will be expected to deal with a wide range of planning and highway matters (including compulsory purchase). The team is currently involved in a number of major development, regeneration projects and transport schemes in the City.
Members of the team are responsible for:-
• providing legal advice to officers and members including Planning Committee.
• drafting a variety of agreements including planning agreements pursuant to section 106 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 and section 278 Highways Act 1980, orders and notices.
• appearing before courts and local inquiries.
