Harmonised Pay Scale Points: 15 – 35 (£18,684.00 – £33,313.00 per annum)
Bishop Auckland College is seeking to recruit a 1.0 Lecturer Coordinator in Maths who will be responsible for the effective and efficient teaching and coordination of courses within the relevant curriculum area.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Maths, or a closely related subject, a Certificate in Education / PGCE / PCET (or be willing to work towards within 2 years), Safeguarding Level 1 (to be achieved within 6 weeks), Level 2 in Literacy (or equivalent eg. GCSE C/4 or above in English, L2 Functional Skills English)
Applicants will also have recent consistently Good or Outstanding judgements of classroom lesson observations (or have the ability to demonstrate this standard of teaching practice during the interview process)
