Marine Park is a purpose built, PFI School on an extensive and attractive coastal site in Whitley Bay, North Tyneside. The school is the largest First School in North Tyneside, currently attracting and serving 520 pupils from a wide catchment.
The Governors of this successful, large, friendly and happy First School invite applications for the post of teacher. We are looking to appoint a teacher to provide short term supply cover and work in our school on a medium to long term basis as required. You will be required to cover planned and unplanned absence of teaching staff. As such, it is essential for the successful applicant to work closely with teaching staff and the wider school team in order to contribute to the outstanding quality of education, safety, welfare, wellbeing, happiness and behaviour that we strive to achieve for the pupils at school.
The post will commence as soon as possible and would be suitable for newly, recently qualified or experienced teachers.
The successful applicant will have:
• Exemplary classroom practitioner skills across the first school age range
• The ability to work at short notice and make an immediate impact on the learning of children and young people
• Flexibility and a positive, can do working approach
• High expectations of pupils and be fully committed to raising standards for all pupils, whatever their needs

This post is casual, fixed term for 1 year.
