They will have high expectations when supporting teaching and learning throughout the school. NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent is essential however, degree level qualification is desirable.

The successful candidate will work as part of a team supervising the learning of whole classes during the short term absence of the class teacher and undertaking teaching assistant duties when not required for cover.

We take pride in the school’s academic achievement, whilst being firmly committed to Inclusion and the Every Child Matters agenda. Therefore, if you are passionate about education and enjoy a challenge, this is the job for you. Potential candidates are welcome to contact Mrs Leanne Clay (Assistant Headteacher) for an informal discussion.

This post is permanent, 37 hours per week, term time only over 195 days.
