Technical Skills Officer (35 hours)
The Foundation is seeking a highly motivated individual to fulfil the exciting role of Technical Skills Officer as part of the Skills Team.

Through our pioneering facility, the Beacon of Light, it is the Foundation’s ambition to develop the employability of people across Sunderland, South Tyneside and County Durham through quality education and skills delivery.

Our World of Work Zones have created a new and exciting opportunity to develop programmes offering qualifications and hands on experience in partnership with leading employers such as Nissan, Arriva and Barratt Homes.

The Technical Skills role is of key importance to our Skills delivery and will deliver introduction to industry qualifications in engineering/manufacturing and construction for learners aged 16+.

You will have the ability to support learners to achieve their qualifications through outstanding teaching and learning, whilst also ensuring the quality of delivery in line with Ofsted requirements and Foundation of Light policies and procedures.
