Moorbridge is a Pupil Referral Unit for KS3 and KS4 pupils in North Tyneside. Moorbridge PRU is part of North Tyneside Student Support Service specifically in relation to SEMH which offers a range of services to schools in North Tyneside.

The PRU has been rated ‘Good’ in the last 3 Ofsted inspections and we continue to achieve a high rate of pupils achieving 5 GCSE/Equivalent or more in Year 11 which means that we are always in the top 10% of AP provisions in the UK.

Our pupils need staff who will create a calm and purposeful environment with proven ability to support in the administration/clerical duties within Moorbridge. Pupils at Moorbridge have extreme needs which may prevent their attendance at a mainstream school.

Maths Teacher - Full Time, fixed term one year MPS/UPS + SEN 2 Allowance (+ additional subjects)

We are looking to appoint, with effect from February 2020 or ASAP an inspirational and enthusiastic teacher of Maths along with General Subjects and outstanding SEN Practitioner who has the ability to engage and enthuse students with a passion for learning and re engaging in education. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, and have a track record of outstanding student performance. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an imaginative and creative teacher to work in a supportive and energetic environment. You will be able to demonstrate the talent, interpersonal skills and a range of teaching strategies required to inspire and motivate students. The ideal candidate will be an outstanding teaching practitioner with sound subject knowledge and a passion for teaching. The post holder will be expected to deliver courses to Key stage 3 & possibly key stage 4. We would particularly be interested in teachers with a Maths background. The successful applicant would be fully supported within this role with guaranteed CPD and the opportunity to work within a positive and enthusiastic environment.
