We are recruiting to our nurse bank and need additional staff to help us deliver NHS Health Checks in community and workplace settings across Middlesbrough and Redcar & Cleveland. The nurse bank operations on a flexible hours basis with nurses working at times convenient to their availability.
Our Health Checks focus on the NHS Health Check but we also offer, health MOTs and blood pressure checks in a variety of community settings.
The post holder will work with other nurses, HCAs or alone to conduct a health check, document and communicate the results and refer for further investigations, treatment or lifestyle services as required and in line with programme standards.
The applicant requires good knowledge of CVD risk factors, risk communication, behaviour and lifestyle change. Knowledge and skills of motivational interviewing would be advantageous
