Further Information
Marden Bridge Middle School require a suitably experienced, versatile and competent Learning Support Assistant to support pupils in the SEN cohort at Marden Bridge. We are a popular growing school with 570 on role.

The successful candidate will work under the guidance of SENDCO, and within an agreed system of supervision, to implement agreed work programmes with the individual or groups, in or out of the classroom. This includes in class support, withdrawal work to focus on specific skills, accompaniment on trips, liaising with teachers and a thirst to engage with high quality CPD on offer.

The primary focus of the post is to support SEN pupils with a variety of needs in the classroom for academic progress and with wider challenges like behaviour and autism. This will be the major part of the role.

To also be competent/knowledgeable around any numeracy interventions or show a willingness to learn these skills is also desirable.

This post is permanent, 30 hours per week, term time only over 195 days.
