Ashden is a charity that works in the field of sustainable energy. This exciting new post offers a unique opportunity to work with Ashden's successful Liveable Towns and Cities Team whilst being embedded in the heart of the North of Tyne Combined Authority. The post holder will lead on developing and testing a methodology for policy development that solves environmental and social issues whilst also integrating the wellbeing, livelihoods and economic needs of local communities.
• Full-time, fixed post for 2 years
• Employed by Ashden (www.ashden.org) but based at North of Tyne Combined Authority (Newcastle upon Tyne)
We’re looking for someone with a proven track record of successful stakeholder engagement, experience of working in partnership with a range of community groups and with a good understanding of local government and the communities it serves.
