As part of a small, busy Licensing Team the postholder will be responsible for the administration and enforcement of a wide range of licensing functions including taxis, Licensing Act, Gambling Act, street trading, charity collections and more.
The postholder will be expected to process a variety of different licence applications and ensure that they are compliant with both legislation and local policy and to enforce licensing systems through monitoring, inspection and, where appropriate, formal action including prosecution.
The postholder will be required to communicate effectively, and establish and maintain good working relationships across a number of sectors including licensees, the legal profession, enforcement agencies and other related organisations.
