An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Service Manager to be part of a new team to develop a new performance management framework to support resource and investment decisions. The role will be to improve performance management across the Council and to drive a performance culture across the Council developing an approach of performance measurement, intelligence and analysis to inform policy and resource decisions.

You will have prior knowledge and experience of impending and current legislation and policy context affecting local government and other public sector organisations, of developing a corporate performance management framework and you will have demonstrable experience of interpreting and analysing information, trends and evidence to develop, implement and review policy and strategy.

You will have prior experience of working in a large organisation at a senior level in a management or supervisory role and you will have proven ability to manage projects and budgets and to deliver change.
