Salary: £25,008 – £28,950

Full-time – 37 hours per week, subject to flexible working

Fixed term, 2 year contract (with a view to extend based upon continuation of funding)

Location: County Durham Sport Offices, however you will be required to travel within County Durham and occasionally regionally. This post is subject to DBS check due to office location.

About the Role

County Durham Sport (CDS) is looking for a creative, well organised, flexible and outgoing individual to join the team.

This role is wide-ranging and the successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of marketing and communications for the organisation. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and will be able to communicate to a wide ranging audience of both B2B and B2C.

The right candidate will have a can-do attitude and relish in the challenge of this varied role.

The individual will work closely with the staff team and a wide range of partners to support the overall objective of reducing inactivity in County Durham, they will be passionate about the impact that sport and physical activity can have.

Role Purpose

To deliver all aspects of marketing and communications for the organisation – promoting, establishing and raising the profile of the Charity at a local and, where applicable, national level.

Develop and implement the organisations strategic and operational marketing plans.

Influence and lead marketing campaigns.

Deliver high quality work across social media, print, digital marketing and events.
