The Adults & Communities Directorate consists of three strands, Adult Social Care, Community Development, and Public Health. Our aims are to continue to provide essential and highly valued services and to build capacity to enable local communities to make lasting change, improve quality of life and prosperity. As a directorate, we lead on developing a culture of co-operation and co-production, respecting and nurturing the skills and talents of local people and enabling them to fulfil their potential.
We are looking for 2 suitably qualified Assistant Team Managers. To support in our pathway to independence services. This would include hospital discharge for Redcar and Cleveland, step up/down services to the community and our recovery pathways as well as our single point of access team. Our team supports Adults with varying needs and situations across the borough.
The suitable candidates will be highly motivated, organised and enjoy working autonomously as well as part of a team. You will be required to work within legislative frameworks to deliver a high standard of care to users and carers of the service. The key role of these posts are to ensure that the needs of adult's within Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council are care managed and reviewed appropriately according to current legal, government and departmental policy, guidance and procedures.
The team covers a broad area and will require frequent travel between venues across the borough, a full driving licence and access to a motor vehicle is required for this role.
The council holds ambassador status for the North East Better Health at Work Award.
