Newcastle City Council’s Education and Skills Division is seeking a Virtual School Headteacher.

You will work in close and effective partnership with teams in Education and Skills, Early Help, Inclusion and Vulnerable Children, and Social Care, to carry out the statutory role of the Headteacher of the Virtual School for Looked After Children. You will work effectively and collaboratively with children and young people, schools, parents and carers in order to raise educational standards and promote positive outcomes.

You will have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and be able to demonstrate success at improving a range of outcomes of Looked After Children, including development innovation and best practice.
