We are looking for an experienced and suitably qualified Fire and Compliance Support Officer to join our Compliance Team.
You will be required to provide support to the Fire Safety Advisor and Compliance Manager on fire safety issues to ensure fire safety is managed appropriately on all relevant buildings. You will be required to carry out a programme of compliance audits / inspections on buildings within the portfolio to ensure policy commitments, KPI's and relevant legislation are met.
You should have proven and previous experience in the completion of Fire Risk Assessments and reports, in carrying out inspections and audits, and be a competent user of MS Office.
You should have knowledge of fire safety legislation and be a qualified and experienced fire risk assessor.
You should have a thorough knowledge

The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005
Building Regulations: Approved Document B
Fire Safety in Purpose Built Blocks of Flats
Fire Safety in Specialised Housing
Relevant British Standards (Fire safety)
L8 ACOP/ HSG 274/COSHH
Electrical safety
Gas Safety
LOLER
PUWER
Health and Safety at Work Act 1974
Health and Safety Risk Management and Procedures.
You should have IOSH Managing Safely/NEBOSH/NCRQ Certificate and have been through an accredited Fire Risk Assessors course. You should have 5 GCSE at grade 4 or grade C or above and hold a current driving licence and have access to a car or means to mobility support.
