Governors are looking to appoint an experienced and highly effective School Business Manager to play a key role in the continued development of our school. The successful candidate will have experience of leading teams of staff and will have worked effectively at an operational and strategic level in business management.
The post holder will play a key role as a member of the Senior Leadership Team in driving our improvement journey and be able to demonstrate an approach which is focused on continuous improvement in all aspects.
The core responsibilities of the post are to provide leadership and management of Finance, Human Resources, Premises, Health and Safety, Governance, and ICT infrastructure.
The successful post holder will demonstrate:
- Highly effective communication skills including the ability to influence and negotiate
- A proven track record in prioritising, planning, organising and evaluating the work of specific areas of the school
- The ability to develop successful teams
- The ability to engage, motivate and inspire staff
- A proven ability to identify opportunities for improvement in services and to manage these to successful completion.

As a senior leader you will be expected to be a part of school life and to be flexible and adaptable in your approach in response to the priorities of the school
This post is permanent, 37 hours per week, 52 weeks of the year.
