We seek to appoint a School Administrator to provide administrative support for the attendance office of the school, reporting to the Associate Assistant Head teacher. The position is temporary for an initial period of 6 months and is available immediately.
With an NVQ level 2 or equivalent in a relevant discipline and previous clerical/administrative experience, you should have good communication and IT skills. The school’s management information system is SIMS and we use School Comms as our main method of communication with parents/carers.
Your key responsibilities will include:
• Making and receiving phone calls and enquiries from pupils, parents/carers about absences
• Completing attendance registers and recording reasons for absence
• Making contact parents/carers regarding absence from school
• Liaising with the pastoral team to provide support for students where required
• Providing general administrative support for the school
