The governing body is seeking to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant who will make a significant contribution to the life of the school following and promoting the Catholic ethos.
The post involves supporting teachers in curriculum delivery as well as providing additional support through intervention strategies for groups of pupils.
The post holder should have effective communication skills, be hard working and professional in their outlook. He/she should possess maths and English qualifications at GCSE grade A*-C or equivalent, together with NVQ L2 or above or equivalent in a relevant subject.
This post is permanent, term time only over 193 days, 37 hours per week.
The governing body and the Diocese are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and vulnerable adults and the Headteacher must ensure that the highest priority is given to following the guidance and regulations to safeguard them. The successful candidate will be required to undergo an Enhanced check for Regulated Activity from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
