Our governors are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join their very successful team as soon as possible.
At Hillcrest we are passionate about giving our students the best opportunities to support them along their journey into adulthood. We believe strongly in the importance of removing barriers to help our students to be successful whilst promoting a professionally curious approach from our staff. As a result, we have multi-disciplinary approach which includes an Intervention Team comprising of Speech and Language and Occupational Health specialists, an ELSA lead, ASC lead and a therapy dog.
This role would be to work within our Intervention Team to develop, implement and embed programmes, strategies and approaches to support our students, upskill class teams and develop the learning environment. A practitioner with an autism background with an understanding of SaLT and OT approaches would be beneficial. We are keen to appoint an enthusiastic team player who can use their skills, knowledge and expertise in a multi-disciplinary solution focussed approach.
This post is a permanent variable hours contract. (25 – 37 hours)
